STEM Dinner 2018

With over 140 students in attendance, this was to be the busiest STEM Dinner yet! Entertainment included LIVE music from the newly formed ‘Earth, Wind and Stempire’, outstanding debriefs from our Year 12 academic society leaders, maths and origami puzzles and mathematical singalongs! The celebrators then enjoyed some local fish and chips and ‘space cakes’ whilst awards were presented to those students who have gone above and beyond for STEM at Borlase this year.

We were very fortunate in the STEM department to have the support of the Old Borlasian society for these events, who contributed generously to our range of prizes and awards for the students to enjoy. We also pride ourselves in preparing and setting up these events entirely independently, so a huge thank you must be said for all those teachers and sixth form students in the STEM department who made this all possible!
