OB Club

For many years, Borlase has benefitted from the active involvement of our wider community of Old Borlasians, parents and friends.

All of our former pupils are Old Borlasians. They are also all eligible to join The OB Club when they leave the school. The Club was founded over 100 years ago, to provide ways for our former pupils to make contact with each other, to reconnect with the school, and to renew friendships.
The annual subscription of £15 enables the Club to provide prizes for drama, sport and STEM dinners, as well as valuable contributions towards major building projects.

THE CLUB IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS!

The success of the OB Club and its events depends on you, so we are always delighted to welcome new committee members who are keen to share their ideas and enthusiasm.

Why not come along to our AGM in November and find out more?

THE OB CLUB AND THE 400TH ANNIVERSARY OF BORLASE

In 2024 Borlase will be celebrating its 400th anniversary. The Club is committed to supporting the school in the preservation of records, memorabilia and artefacts relating to the history of Borlase. This year the Club has been working with the school to digitise hundreds of historic photographs dating back to the 1800’s.

In preparation for Borlase 400 our next major project will be to support the school in creating archive and record storage facilities. Our aim is to provide a proper environment for the schools historical materials that require permanent protection and preservation.
