Young Scientist of the Year Awards 2019
At Borlase we believe that hard work, commitment and achievement in science should be recognised. That’s why we are delighted that Georgia Mill, who was nominated for Biology, Anastasia Emelyanenko, who was nominated for Chemistry, Myles Caddel who was nominated for Physics and Max Brazier for Computer Science were awarded the prestigious title of Young Scientists of the Year last night.
The Young Scientist of the Year Awards ceremony for Buckinghamshire, organised by Science Oxford and held at Bucks New University, hosted some of the county's most outstanding Year 13 science students, based on progress made during their A-Level courses or in recognition of their enthusiasm and commitment to the subject. They were presented with certificates and listened to a variety of fascinating inspirations speakers in the field of AI, Game Development, The Future of Batteries and about Astrophysics and Space Exploration.
